WHAT IS A KLOSET MANAGER?

We sell quality wardrobes for people in Johannesburg and Cape Town who do not have time to manage the process.

BOOK A KLOSET CLEANOUT

WE SELL YOUR CLOTHES FOR YOU

A Kloset Manager handles the work required to turn the quality fashion you no longer wear into a professionally managed online Kloset.

Kloset Klub offers this managed clothing resale service to selected wardrobes in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

We coordinate the collection, quality checking, photography, pricing, product uploads, buyer communication, storage and selling administration.

You can follow your listings, orders and earnings through your Kloset Klub account without having to manage the daily selling process yourself.

CAN SOMEONE SELL MY CLOTHES FOR ME?

Yes. Kloset Cleanout is Kloset Klub's managed resale service for people who have quality clothes to sell but do not have the time to photograph, list and manage every item themselves.

Instead of turning your wardrobe cleanout into a second job, you hand the operating work to a Kloset Manager.

You still have visibility over your Kloset. We manage the work behind it.

HOW DOES KLOSET CLEANOUT WORK?

The process starts when you tell us about your wardrobe.

Step 1: Submit your Kloset

  • Complete the Kloset Cleanout booking form with information about your location, the number of items, brands, categories and general condition.

Step 2: We assess the wardrobe

  • Kloset Klub reviews whether the wardrobe has enough suitable inventory and resale value for the managed service. Not every wardrobe is accepted.

Step 3: We confirm the approved items

  • We agree on which items should enter the managed Kloset process before collection is arranged.

Step 4: We prepare the Kloset

  • Approved pieces are sorted, quality checked, photographed, priced and uploaded to Kloset Klub.

Step 5: The Kloset goes live

  • Buyers can shop the items online. Your Kloset Manager handles buyer communication and selling administration.

Step 6: You track your sales

  • You can use your Kloset Klub account and app to follow your listings, buyer messages, orders and earnings.

WHAT YOUR KLOSET MANAGER HANDLES

  • Buyer messages.
  • Orders.
  • Selling activity.
  • Pending earnings.
  • Available payouts.

WHAT YOUR KLOSET MANAGER TAKES OFF YOUR PLATE

A complete resale operation built around your wardrobe, without asking you to become a full-time seller.

WHAT YOUR KLOSET MANAGER TAKES OFF YOUR PLATE

Selling a wardrobe properly takes more than uploading a few photographs.

Every item needs to be assessed, prepared, photographed, priced, described, stored and managed until it sells.

Kloset Cleanout gives you a complete resale operation without asking you to run it yourself.

YOU GET YOUR TIME BACK

A wardrobe with 40 or more items can take days or weeks to prepare for resale.

Your Kloset Manager handles the work that usually stops people from ever finishing the process.

This includes:

  • Reviewing the wardrobe.
  • Coordinating approved collections.
  • Sorting and quality checking.
  • Preparing items for photography.
  • Creating product listings.
  • Responding to buyers.
  • Managing sold orders.
  • Keeping track of the Kloset as it moves.

You do not need to spend your evenings photographing clothes, writing descriptions and answering messages.

YOUR CLOTHES ARE PRESENTED PROPERLY

A good item can still fail to sell when the photographs, pricing or description do not communicate its value.

Kloset Klub prepares approved pieces for an online buyer.

We focus on:

  • Clear product photography.
  • Accurate condition information.
  • Useful product descriptions.
  • Realistic resale pricing.
  • Consistent Kloset presentation.
  • Buyer-ready listings.

The goal is not simply to get the wardrobe online.

The goal is to give each approved piece a realistic chance of selling.

YOUR KLOSET KEEPS MOVING

Many people start listing their wardrobes and stop after the first few items.

The selling process still needs to continue after a listing goes live.

Your Kloset Manager handles:

  • Buyer questions.
  • Listing administration.
  • Order activity.
  • Storage during the agreed selling period.
  • Selling follow-through.
  • Payout visibility.

The service is designed to keep the Kloset moving even when you are busy with work, travel, family or daily life.

YOU KEEP THE VISIBILITY

You can use your Kloset Klub account and app to follow:

  • Live listings.
  • Buyer messages.
  • Orders.
  • Selling activity.
  • Pending earnings.
  • Available payouts.

Your Kloset Manager handles the operating work while you remain connected to what is happening.

YOU CREATE SPACE WITHOUT WASTING VALUE

A wardrobe cleanout should not mean giving away quality pieces simply because selling them feels overwhelming.

Kloset Cleanout helps you release items you no longer wear while giving them the opportunity to earn value and move to another wardrobe. You create space.

The buyer gets access to quality fashion. The item stays in use.

HOW DOES THE MANAGED MODEL WORK?

You keep 55% of the listed selling price when an item sells.

Kloset Klub keeps 45% for managing the full service.

That managed share covers:

  • Collection coordination.
  • Sorting and quality checking.
  • Photography.
  • Product preparation.
  • Pricing guidance.
  • Product descriptions.
  • Listing uploads.
  • Listing management.
  • Storage during the agreed selling period.
  • Buyer communication.
  • Order administration.
  • Platform and payment infrastructure.
  • Seller reporting and payout visibility.

The managed share only applies when an item sells.

If you would prefer to photograph, list and manage the items yourself, you can use Kloset Klub's self-service option and pay a 5% seller success fee.

Start selling your own items.

Kloset Cleanout is for people who would rather share the sale than carry the full workload.

IS KLOSET CLEANOUT RIGHT FOR YOUR WARDROBE?

The service is designed for selected quality wardrobes with enough suitable inventory and resale value.

Kloset Cleanout is designed for people who:

  • Are based in Johannesburg or Cape Town.
  • Have approximately 40 to 120 suitable items.
  • Own pieces with an expected resale value of around R800 or more per item.
  • Have quality fashion in very good or excellent condition.
  • Own recognised brands, premium high-street fashion, local designer pieces, occasionwear, streetwear, shoes, handbags or strong wardrobe staples.
  • Want to clear meaningful wardrobe space.
  • Do not have time to photograph and upload every item.
  • Do not want to manage buyer questions and sold orders.
  • Understand that resale prices differ from original retail prices.
  • Are comfortable keeping 55% in exchange for the full managed service.

The service works particularly well for busy professionals, founders, executives, creators, public personalities, frequent travellers and people preparing to move or reduce a large wardrobe.

WHO IS THE SERVICE NOT FOR?

Kloset Cleanout may not be suitable when:

  • You have only a few items to sell.
  • Most pieces have a resale value below R800.
  • The wardrobe mainly consists of low-value ultra-fast fashion.
  • Items are stained, damaged or heavily worn. - Products are counterfeit.
  • You expect to recover close to the original retail price.
  • You want to control every listing, buyer message and order.
  • You would prefer to do the work yourself and keep a larger share of the selling price. In these cases, self-service selling on Kloset Klub may be the better option.

WHAT TYPES OF CLOTHING WORK BEST?

The strongest managed Klosets contain pieces another buyer would still genuinely want to own.

This may include:

  • Occasion dresses.
  • Matching sets. - Jackets and coats.
  • Premium shoes and sneakers.
  • Quality handbags.
  • Local designer fashion.
  • Premium high-street pieces.
  • Recognised streetwear.
  • Well-made workwear.
  • Statement pieces.
  • Quality wardrobe staples.

Condition, brand relevance, season and price all affect whether an item is likely to sell. The goal is to build a strong Kloset with pieces that have a realistic chance of selling.

WHY DO GOOD CLOTHES SOMETIMES NOT SELL?

A quality item does not sell simply because it has been uploaded.

It still needs:

  • A realistic resale price.
  • Clear photographs & video.
  • Accurate condition information.
  • A useful title and description.
  • Buyer trust.
  • Fast communication.
  • Reliable order management.
  • A simple payment and delivery process.

Many people begin selling their wardrobes and stop after listing a few pieces because maintaining the process takes too much time.

A Kloset Manager keeps the different parts moving.

DO I APPROVE THE PRICES?

Yes. Kloset Klub provides pricing guidance based on factors such as:

  • Brand.
  • Category.
  • Condition.
  • Original retail positioning.
  • Current buyer demand.
  • Comparable resale items.
  • Recent selling data.

You retain final approval over the initial listing price.

However, the strongest results usually come from pricing for the current resale market rather than the original purchase price or emotional value of the item.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ITEMS DO NOT SELL?

Kloset Cleanout currently operates with an agreed 8-week selling window.

If an approved item has not sold by the end of the selling period, you can choose to:

  • Have the item returned to you.
  • Donate the item through Kloset Klub's partnership with the Liesl Laurie-Mthombeni Foundation.

The foundation supports young people from underserved communities in Eldorado Park.

When you choose to donate your unsold items, the foundation's team can arrange to collect them directly together with Kloset Klub.

Nothing is donated without your permission. Kloset Klub will contact you at the end of the selling period so you can confirm what should happen to every unsold item.

WHAT HAPPENS TO ITEMS THAT DO NOT QUALIFY?

Kloset Klub confirms which pieces meet the managed resale criteria before collection or during the agreed wardrobe assessment process.

Items that do not qualify remain with you and do not move into the photography, listing or storage process.

This protects your time and helps maintain the quality of the Kloset Klub buyer experience.

IS A KLOSET MANAGER THE SAME AS A STYLIST?

No.

A stylist helps you decide what to wear.

A wardrobe organiser helps you arrange what you own.

A Kloset Manager focuses on selling the pieces you are ready to release.

The work begins when you decide that part of your wardrobe should move on.

IS KLOSET CLEANOUT A CONSIGNMENT SERVICE?

Yes.

Kloset Cleanout is a managed fashion consignment service built around a visible digital Kloset rather than a traditional consignment store rail.

Your approved items are listed and sold through Kloset Klub.

You can use your account and app to see what has been listed, what has sold and what you have earned.

You are not handing over your wardrobe and waiting for an unexplained update.

The Kloset remains visible to you throughout the process.

WHY DOES KLOSET KLUB CALL THEM KLOSET MANAGERS?

Because the service is personal, operational and ongoing.

Kloset Klub is not only giving you a page where clothes can be posted.

A Kloset Manager is responsible for turning a wardrobe into organised, priced, photographed and buyer-ready fashion inventory.

That means understanding:

  • What should be accepted.
  • How each item should be presented.
  • What buyers are currently looking for.
  • How the item should be priced.
  • What needs to happen after an order is placed.

A Kloset Manager is the management layer between a wardrobe full of unworn fashion and a completed sale.
