HOW DOES KLOSET KLUB WORK?

Kloset Klub is South Africa's curated resale platform for quality pre-loved fashion. If you have pieces worth buying, we have buyers ready to pay for them.

Here is how it works as a seller:

  • Create your store and list your items for free with photos or a short video

  • Hit Generate ✨ and let our AI write your listing description for you in seconds

  • Share your store on social media and WhatsApp to get your first buyers faster

  • When someone buys, your payment is held safely until the buyer confirms they are happy

  • Ship easily with Pudo using door collection or one of over 1,200 lockers nationwide

  • Once the buyer confirms, a 5% success fee is deducted and the rest lands straight in your wallet

  • Withdraw to your bank account anytime for just R5 (VAT Ex)

WHAT ITEMS CAN I SELL?

List pieces that still feel worth buying after the first owner.

Buyers usually come here looking for brands they know, better quality fabrics, or special pieces they missed in stores.

Items that tend to sell:

  • Recognisable brands

  • Event / Occassion wear, jackets, dresses and sneakers

  • African designer pieces

  • Statement pieces or popular styles

Items that usually struggle:

  • Ultra fast-fashion

  • Very basic tops, leggings or thin t-shirts

  • Heavily worn clothing

If it’s something easily replaceable in-store, buyers will often skip it online.

ARE ANY BRANDS NOT ALLOWED?

Yes. Some ultra-fast-fashion brands are extremely difficult to resell online and usually remain unsold.

Please avoid listing:

Shein, Temu, Mr. Price, Jet, Legit, Pep, Miladys, Donna, Pick n Pay, Ackermans, Chinatown imports and similar non-label items etc..

This saves you time and effort on listings that are unlikely to move.

IS THERE A MINIMUM PRICE TO LIST?

Yes. The minimum listing price is R400.

Very low-priced items are often skipped by buyers and end up sitting unsold. Starting at R400 helps your item get proper attention and improves your chances of a sale.

One important thing, though. The R400 minimum is not an invitation to price an item higher than it is worth just to get it listed. If a piece is genuinely worth R50, pricing it at R400 is not fair to buyers and it will not sell. Our buyers are savvy and they know value when they see it.

If an item does not have real resale value, the honest answer is simply not to list it. Save your energy for pieces that deserve a second life and a fair price.

Items priced below R400 or significantly above their real value may be removed from the platform.

WHY DO I NEED TO PRICE ABOVE R400?

Very low-priced items rarely hold meaningful resale value online. They get skipped by buyers, crowd the feed and make it harder for quality pieces to be seen. Good listings get buried and sellers struggle to sell.

The R400 minimum keeps browsing enjoyable for buyers and gives well-kept closets a fair chance to be noticed and sold.

HOW DO YOU MONITOR QUALITY?

  • Buyers leave reviews on every order, rating quality, accuracy, and service.

  • Your ratings affect how often your items appear and your store’s visibility.

  • Sellers who offer the best service and quality build trust, attract repeat buyers, and grow faster.

WHY WAS MY LISTING REMOVED?

Listings may be removed if they:

• Are below the R400 minimum

• Belong to restricted brands

• Are heavily worn or damaged

• Have unclear or low-quality photos or videos (dark, blurry, cropped, or hard to see)

This helps buyers trust what they see and gives clear listings a fair chance to sell.

TIPS TO SELL BETTER

  • The more people see your listings, the faster you sell. Share your items on social media and WhatsApp groups because people buy quicker from people they already know.

  • Tag @klosetklubZA when you post, we’ll reshare and help boost your reach.

  • Use clear photos or short videos that show fit, fabric, and condition.

  • Hit Generate ✨ and let our AI write your listing description for you in seconds.

  • Reply quickly to buyers to build trust.

  • Price fairly and keep your stock updated.

WHAT DO I DO WHEN I GET AN ORDER?

  • You’ll get a notification in your app when a buyer places an order.

  • Open the order and choose to accept or decline. Only decline if you have a valid reason.

  • Once you accept, you have 2 working days to ship the item using your chosen Pudo method.

  • Always make sure your items are clean, washed, ironed, and smelling fresh so they’re ready to ship quickly.

  • Never send out dirty items. If there are any defects, you must communicate them clearly to the buyer before shipping.

  • Pack your items neatly. Even if you’re not using a box, aim for a special touch, like wrapping it beautifully or adding a handwritten note. These small details create a great unwrapping experience for the buyer.

  • Upload your tracking details in-app so the buyer can follow their parcel.

  • Once the order is delivered, the buyer has 24 hours to confirm receipt. After that, they have another 48 hours to request a return if there’s a problem.

  • If no return is requested, the order is closed as successful and your payment is released to your wallet.

If you don’t accept or decline an order within 2 days:

  • The system will automatically cancel it.

  • The buyer’s money will be released back to their original payment method and will reflect in 4–7 working days.

  • The item will be automatically deleted from your store to avoid disappointing the next buyer.

  • This will count as an order cancellation. Remember, you only have 5 cancellations in your store’s lifetime before your store is permanently banned from Kloset Klub.

CAN I CANCEL ORDERS?

  • Declining or cancelling orders breaks buyer trust and should be avoided.

  • Keep track of your stock and delete unavailable items immediately to prevent disappointed buyers.

  • You can decline an order with a valid reason, but if you decline more than 5 times in the lifetime of your store, your store will be permanently banned.

  • Once you accept an order, it cannot be cancelled.

HOW DO PAYMENTS WORK?

When a buyer purchases your item, their payment is held safely by our payment provider TradeSafe until the buyer confirms they are happy with their order.

Once confirmed, here is what happens:

  • A 5% success fee is deducted automatically

  • The remaining balance lands straight in your Kloset Klub wallet

  • Withdraw to your bank account anytime for a small R5 fee (excl. VAT), charged by TradeSafe

Here is exactly how the timeline works after delivery:

  • 24 hours - the buyer confirms receipt. If no action is taken, the order is automatically marked as received

  • 48 hours after receipt - the buyer can request a return. If no return is requested within this window, the sale closes automatically

  • Once the sale closes - your payout is initiated to your Kloset Klub wallet

  • Payout initiated - funds are processed and released to your wallet within 2 days of the sale closing

What can I do with my wallet balance?

  • Shop on Kloset Klub - use your wallet balance to buy directly on the platform anytime.

  • Top up your wallet - add funds directly to your wallet and use them to shop on Kloset Klub anytime.

  • Withdraw to your bank account - anytime, for just R5 (excl. VAT).

HOW DOES THE WALLET WORK?

Your Kloset Klub wallet is where all your earnings land after a sale. It is your personal balance on the platform and you are in full control of what happens with it.

How money gets into your wallet:

Every time you make a sale and the order closes, your earnings (minus the 5% success fee) are automatically released into your wallet. You will get a notification every time your balance updates.

What you can do with your wallet balance:

  • Shop on Kloset Klub, use your balance to buy directly on the platform anytime

  • Top up your wallet, add funds directly to your wallet and use them to shop on Kloset Klub anytime

  • Withdraw to your bank account - anytime, for just R5 (excl. VAT)

Your wallet balance never expires. It sits there ready to use whenever you need it.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO SELL?

Listing on Kloset Klub is completely free.

We only charge when you make a sale:

5% Success Fee

  • Automatically deducted when your item sells. This keeps the platform running, safe, and improving for everyone.

R5 Withdrawal Fee (excl. VAT)

  • A small fee applies when you move your earnings from your wallet to your bank account. This is charged by our payment provider, TradeSafe, not Kloset Klub, and you will always see it clearly before you confirm your withdrawal.

That is it. No listing fees, no monthly subscriptions, no hidden costs.

HOW DO REVIEWS WORK?

After every completed order, buyers and sellers rate each other. It goes both ways.

As a seller you rate your buyer, and your buyer rates you on quality, accuracy and service. All reviews are visible on your store and profile, and they build trust with everyone you transact with on the platform.

Your ratings directly affect how often your listings appear on the platform. Sellers with strong reviews get more visibility, attract more buyers and sell faster.

The best way to get great reviews is simple: list honestly, pack carefully and communicate quickly.

HOW DO I HANDLE A RETURN?

Buyers have a 3-day window from delivery to request a return. Here is how it works and what your rights are as a seller.

When a buyer can return:

  • The item is not as described (wrong size label, stains or damage not shown, or counterfeit)

  • You cancelled the order

  • The buyer did not receive their order within the agreed delivery period

  • Change of mind, but only if you agree

Change of mind returns are at your discretion. You are not obligated to accept them. If a buyer requests a return because something does not fit or they changed their mind, you can say yes or no. If you decline, the sale stands.

How the process works:

  • Once delivered, the buyer has 24 hours to confirm receipt or raise a dispute

  • If no dispute is raised within 24 hours, the sale closes automatically and your payout is initiated. No action needed from you

  • If a dispute is raised, the buyer submits a reason and photo or video evidence

  • You have 48 hours to respond. If you do not respond, the request is automatically declined

  • If you approve, the buyer ships the item back within 3 days using Pudo and uploads tracking

  • Once you confirm receipt, the refund is processed through TradeSafe back to the buyer

  • If you reject the return after receiving the item, you must provide proof and the case is escalated to our support team

Who pays for return shipping:

  • Seller's fault (wrong item, damaged, not as described) - you cover shipping

  • Buyer's choice (change of mind, does not fit) - buyer pays if you approve

If no agreement is reached, escalate to [email protected] or WhatsApp, and our team will review the evidence and make a fair call.

All returns must go through the app. Never communicate off-platform or ship outside the system. This protects you and keeps everything tracked and transparent.

BUYERS

WHAT IS A BUYER'S PROTECTION FEE?

Every order on Kloset Klub is protected. Your money is held safely and only released to the seller once you confirm you are happy. Nobody gets paid until you are satisfied.

The fee is 6.5% of your order value plus R15, and you will always see the exact amount in your order summary before you pay.

What you are protected against:

  • Item not as described

  • Damaged or missing items

  • Seller cancellations

HOW DOES KLOSET KLUB WORK?

Here is how it works as a buyer:

  • Browse thousands of curated listings from sellers across South Africa

  • Find something you love and place your order

  • Your payment is held safely until you confirm you are happy with your order

  • The seller ships your item via Pudo, using door collection or one of over 1,200 lockers nationwide

  • Once your order arrives, confirm receipt in the app and the seller gets paid

  • Every order is covered by Buyer Protection, so your money is always safe until you are satisfied

HOW DOES SHIPPING WORK?

  • Choose delivery to a Pudo locker or directly to your door.

  • Pudo has 1200+ lockers across South Africa, pick one near you at checkout.

  • Each seller has their own shipping rate & delivery time because they ship from different parts of the country.

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?

  • Sellers must ship within 2 business days of accepting an order.

  • Delivery times depend on the seller’s location. You’ll see estimated dates at checkout and in your order details.

  • Kloset Klub lets you shop from multiple sellers in one basket. Each order has its own shipping fee and delivery time.

  • Example:

    • Buy 1 or many items from Seller A → 1 shipping fee.

    • Buy from Seller A and Seller B → 2 shipping fees and 2 separate delivery times.

    • A jacket from Seller A (Johannesburg) might take 2–3 days, while shoes from Seller B (Cape Town) might take 4–5 days.

HOW DO RETURNS WORK?

  • Once your order is delivered, you have 24 hours to click “Order Received”

  • If there’s an issue, you have 48 hrs to tap “Return Order”, select the reason, and upload photos or a short video.

  • If no action is taken, the order closes and payment is released to the seller.

  • Refunds are processed by Tradesafe once the return is complete.

  • All returns are done in-app only and must be shipped via Pudo locker-to-locker. This protects both buyers and sellers.

WHEN CAN I RETURN AN ITEM?

You can return an item if:

  • It’s not as described (wrong size label, major flaws not shown, or counterfeit).

  • The seller cancelled your order.

  • You didn’t receive your order within the delivery timeframe.

What if I've changed my mind?

  • If the correct item was delivered and you simply change your mind, this does not qualify as a reason for return.

  • Sellers are not required to accept change of mind returns.

  • If a seller chooses to allow it, the buyer must cover both the return & resend shipping via Pudo locker-to-locker.

  • To request, first click “Order Received” in your app. The “Return Order” button will then appear for 48 hours.

  • Select “Other” as the reason, upload 1–3 photos or a short video, and submit.

  • The seller will be notified and has 3 days to respond.

STEPS TO RETURN AN ITEM

  • First click *“Order Received” in your app to confirm delivery.

  • After that, the “Return Order” button will appear for 48 hours.

  • Select the reason for the return.

  • Upload at least 1–3 photos or a short video of the item.

  • Submit → the seller is notified and must respond within 2 days.

  • Sellers are not required to accept change of mind returns if the correct item was delivered.

  • If the seller agrees, the buyer is responsible for return shipping via Pudo locker-to-locker.

WHO PAYS FOR RETURN SHIPPING?

  • Seller pays if the item is wrong, damaged, or not as described.

  • Buyer pays if it’s a change of mind (only if the seller agrees).

  • All returns use Pudo locker-to-locker for tracking.

RETURNS & ORDER ISSUES

EASY RETURNS PROCESS

  • All returns must be opened in the app for safety and tracking.

  • Buyers have 48 hours after delivery to confirm receipt, then another 24 hours to request a return.

  • To return: click “Return Order”, choose a reason, upload photos or a short video, and submit.

  • Sellers have 24 hours to respond. If no reply, the request is declined automatically.

  • If approved, the buyer ships back within 3 days using Pudo locker-to-locker and uploads tracking.

  • Once the item is received:

    • Accepted → refund is processed to the buyer.

    • Rejected → seller must provide proof, and the case is reviewed by support.

  • If the seller does not respond within 48 hours after the return is marked delivered, the system auto-confirms the return and refund.

EXCHANGES

  • We don’t currently offer direct exchanges.

  • If you’d like a different item, request a return first and wait for your refund.

  • Once your refund is processed, you can place a new order for the item you prefer.

DISPUTES

  • Most issues can be sorted quickly between the buyer and seller through the in-app chat.

  • If no agreement is reached, escalate to our support team at [email protected] or via WhatsApp.

  • Our team reviews the evidence from the app and makes a fair decision.

WHY DID WE MOVE TO KLOSET KLUB?

WISI-Oi wasn’t fast enough or built to scale, and didn’t give our community the tools they needed.

We listened to your feedback and created Kloset Klub from the ground up: faster uploads, video listings, safer payments, seller dashboards, and affordable Pudo shipping.

It’s designed to give sellers the tools to sell more, quicker, and safer.

WHAT HAPPENED TO MY WISI-OI ACCOUNT?

Your WISI-Oi account, unsold listings, and followers were automatically moved to Kloset Klub.

You just need to activate your account with a reset link we sent to your email.

WHAT HAPPENED TO MY LISTINGS?

All unsold listings were transferred to Drafts on Kloset Klub. You need to review and publish them before they go live.

🚨 If your store had no active listings, it wasn’t moved. You can start a new store on Kloset Klub anytime.

WHAT ABOUT PENDING SALES?

If you had a pending sale during the move, you were asked to fulfill it as normal.

Payouts were processed as usual, and your active listings were then migrated to Kloset Klub.
